What I did#
- Designed the logo and the visual identity, after a few weeks of sketches.
- Led the UI and frontend for the site, page by page, in Next.js and Tailwind.
- Set the visual language that later contributors built on top of.
What it taught me#
A visual identity is mostly editing. The first sketch of the logo had four ideas in it. The shipped one has one. Same for the site: most of the work was deleting things until what was left did its job.
